Thanks April! I was holding my breath! I wasn't sure if he would like it or understand the whole "art doll" thing! LOL DH just looked at it and "uh, looks good?" ROFL

Like it? Well that is maybe stretching it, but I do adore you for it and I had to laugh when i opened it and looked at everything on it. The "gaudy" clthes are what makes me wonder about it as that is not me, otherwise most everything else I did get the symbolism.

I did mean to drop ya aline bt after reading the group and trying to post responses where neede, well I was just ot of time and beat!!!

ANYHOW like they say, it is the thought that counts and Kenda, you area special treasure and I love it for that reason. I is displayed on top of one of my beenie baby cabinets by the door in the lr.

OH... I should have taken a picture of it when he showed me. I took pictures of all the other things Dave was doing like taking over Zenda for a few. SHe didn't even try to cry.... he was smothering her with kisses and playing with her. He was sooooo happy. Last time I was in OKC she was the fussiest thihnng and we had to get back home.

Another note: We got a walker from a restaurant owner whose restaurant we frequent and then another friends house we went to we got a almost new high chair that does everything. For an adopted baby she is getting spoiled by everyone and will be happy to know she was adopted by Darrell and I and a group of good friends!!! that love her to death!...

Lynne I have uploaded the pictures to my account, under Artdolls. I made Dave an art doll. I painted a bendy doll. I also made it clothes out of some fabric Dave brought to me (I sorted it with my Mom and we kept some and gave some to a Church for art projects) I attached some "scrapbooks" to one leg. Attached his name to one arm using whatelse but metal eyelet alphabets! One hand is holding a stack of PAPER!!. I made a face out of polymer clay (using a push mold), the face is Santa as Dave is always a Super Sneaky Santa!! I couldn't sleep one night as I was making this doll in my head so I got up at about 2:30am and made it. Then went back to bed for a few hours! Hope everyone enjoys looking at it.

OMG... that is priceless!!!! Hey, at least you spelled floozy right... its misspelled on the pins!!! LOLOLOL Oh well.... VERY cute!!! (although he'd have more paper than that!) LOLOL

oh I have to tell you I LOVE LOVE LOVE the art dolls with the beaded wings... too cool!!!! Too bad I have to pack everything up or I'd try that! NEAT!

Having already professed a love for your Art Dolls, I had to see what "Dave " looked like and I have to say ,Kenda, it is awesome ! I love it!! You have captured Dave's essence and to personify him as Santa fits perfectly! I tink I like it best of all the dolls you have in your account. Thank you sahring it with us, and wow Dave, you are really a DOLL !!

I'm sorry it scares ya!! But I have to agree that some of the art dolls I've seen are a bit creepy!

That is the first "bendy" art doll I"ve done. I loved it and hated to part with it but knew that it just fit Dave so perfectly! Thanks for your comments Sabrina!
