Interesting. I don't recall ever seeing boiled peanuts. But, then, I wasn't looking for them either. Will have to look next time I'm at Trader Joe's. Thanks.

cool, I like plain peanuts without salt or flavoring. I might have to try these. A trader joe's is opening by us in a few weeks until then I'll check out the amish market over at atlas and see if they have them.

Boiled Peanuts are AWESOME!! My DB first turned me on to them a couple of years ago. He too had never seen them until he moved to Mississippi. They make them in different flavors and such. God Bless, Dorothy in NY

Another boiled peanut lover here! I usually try to pick some fresh ones up when we travel through Mississippi on our way home from Louisiana, I have also bought raw peanuts and boiled them myself with lots of salt. Now I'm getting hungry for some.....

They have to be raw to boil. I get mine at Wal Mart. I put salt and crushed red pepper (like you use on pizza) in my water and boil them for 6 or 7 hours adding water as it boils down. I first tasted them while living in Jacksonville, FL

I have never been a big fan of these but dad loves em. You can buy them in my hometown. They boil them in old garbage cans and sell them on the sides of the road. You can get them everywhere.
