Pattern of Hurricane Katrina.

I have only just remembered that when I was at the cottage, I captured a picture of Hurricane Katrina when she was just in the Gulf of Mexico off the Florida coast. I put the picture through Pattern Maker, and it is 224 stitches wide by 156 high in 45 colors. If anyone wants a copy of the pattern, they are more than welcome; for free of course, as an *.pat file. For anyone not familiar with Pattern Maker, you can download a free piece of software, Pattern Viewer, from

formatting link
When you get the *.pat file, Pattern Viewer will allow you to open the file, view it, and print it out to the size you desire. Anyone interested, please email me with an unmunged email address.

-- Jim Cripwell. A volante tribe of bards on earth are found,/ who, while the flattering zephyrs round them play,/ on "coignes of vantage" build their nests of clay;/ how quickly from that aery hold unbound,/ dust for oblivion!/ To the solid ground/ of nature trusts the mind that builds for aye. Wordsworth.
