Converting pictures to embroidery files

I have written to Jon by email, but as I have posted before, I am quite prepared to use Pattern Maker to turn pictures into counted cross stitch patterns for free.

I tried emailing you, but it bounced; if you would like some free help, email me. Basically, I have Pattern Maker, and can easily turn any picture into a pattern. I do this at one pixel per stitch, because I cannot judge at which level of detail a pettern is worth stitching. I can choose any number of colors, either DMC or Anchor, up to 90. I can do as many patterns as you like with different numbers of colors. I send you back an *.pat file. If you go to

you can download a free piece of software, Pattern Viewer, which enables you to open the *.pat file, view and print the pattern. You have a choice of large symbols and lots of pages, or vice versa. All of which is done for free; no cost to you at all. Email me if you are interested. But remember I do almost no work, and no thinking. If the picture needs to be a different size, this is up to you.
