Is there any free software for converting jpg files to embroidery files specifically ".ERF". I want to have logo done for a charity but the supplier charges extra for converting it and we are trying to keep the costs down.
Thanks Jon

I have written to Jon by email, but as I have posted before, I am quite prepared to use Pattern Maker to turn pictures into counted cross stitch patterns for free.

I tried emailing you, but it bounced; if you would like some free help, email me. Basically, I have Pattern Maker, and can easily turn any picture into a pattern. I do this at one pixel per stitch, because I cannot judge at which level of detail a pettern is worth stitching. I can choose any number of colors, either DMC or Anchor, up to 90. I can do as many patterns as you like with different numbers of colors. I send you back an *.pat file. If you go to
