Help!! Need Digitizing Software

Oct 30, 2003 5 Replies

Hi all.

My wife and I are new to the digitizing aspect to embroidering.

My work gave me some logo's that they want embroidered on the shirt pockets. They are in JPEG and GIF format.

Is there a digitizing software out there that has a demo or trial version that will let me turn these into embroidery files?

We can't afford $200 for click n stich just to do about 35 shirts.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Ron

If you post a request and the jpeg on "alt.binaries.crafts.pictures" someone might digitize it for you. Make sure the picture is high resolution.

You can't get anything much cheaper than about $200 that is worth having......AND-------there is a long learning curve on digitizing----you don't just sit down and knock one out with your cup of coffee the first time.

You would be money, time, and heartaches ahead to pay someone to digitize it who really knows what they are doing........JMHO

send me the pics i will have a look when i get a few minuites say what format you want them in, not promising but i will have a look

You also might post your digitizing request along with a good BMP or Gif on alt.binaries.crafts.pictures. There are alot of nice folks that might just get it done for you. Ask nicely! Nana
