Need help with digitizing

Sep 21, 2011 5 Replies

Hi guys and sorry I have been gone for so long. I am drowning in work and when I have gotten time, I try to sew. But now I am in a pickle. I have agreed to make patches for the school. They are very small and simple but my digitizing skills are pretty bad, even though I own 4D professional and could make this in a half hour if I knew how. Is there someone that can help me? I am supposed to have them for Friday :-0 . It is just text, 3 dots and a border. I can send the file.

Hi Kirsten, welcome back! Send me the art as a JPEG, and let me know what format you need the embroidery file in. I'll get it back to you later today.

I forgot to add, Comcast is apparently blocking everything from Europe (outside of England, hi Kate), so repair the munge and use this alternate address:

beidesigns [at] hotmail dot com

So far as I know I never miss incoming e-mail at that address.

It is done! (sent to you, that is, not done...). I can use any format but hus and vp3 are the most common.

Received and additional questions sent. ;-}

In this case my all-nighter paid a HUGE reward! I received a package from Norway today, containing two ginourmous milk-chocolate bars and a gorgeous knit-and-embroidered headband. I'll feel positively Nordic wearing it when the weather turns. Really stunning. And if I die tomorrow, you'll all know it was with a huge satisfied grin, and creamy chocolate smears on my mouth and fingers. :-)

Thanks, Kirsten, my favorite indulgence is milk-chocolate, and I haven't had any since my health scare in July. But this I could not resist, it's smooth, rich, entirely satisfying, and well worth the calories. Besides, they say a little chocolate is good for us, right?
