OT: Knitting Machine or what I've been doing other than scrapping

These of projects I've been doing on my knitting machine. It occurred to me I should take a picture of it as well. Most people would open the case and just close it back up. That's why there are so many under beds gathering dust and I got one donated to me. I never would have bought one. Thinking do I really need one more craft to get involved with? Since it was free well why not.

Today I took pictures of all my projects.

Very nice, Lynne! I love knitting, it was the first craft I learned as a child...I haven't knitted anything in a long time, once I get my hobby room organized I may have to take it up again!

There is a newsgroup for machine knits: rec.crafts.textiles.machine-knit

It isn't nearly as active as this one, so it isn't so much a true community. But it does exist.

There is a much more active one for all types of knitting (with some weaving and spinning thrown in): rec.crafts.textiles.yarn

Yes, I've been watching the group and nothing going on there for quite a while. I am on a few very active Yahoo machine knitting groups. I really love reading those posts.

Great, Lynne! If any of you have one of the plastic bed hobby machines, I've put up some videos for various how-to's on Viddler at:

Lynne, These look great. I have no clue how to knit nor did I really understand what a knitting machine is. Glad you are having a fun time with it, though! =)
