Spamming newsgroups isn't cool. Also, I once got reported to my ISP for just sharing a website with a friend. I had no association with that website, but someone reported me anyway. It wouldn't be very nice if that happened to you, now would it?

I'm sorry this bothered you. There are lots of women out there looking for a place to belong. There is a lot of OT conversation going on in this group and I didn't think anyone would mind. I am not selling anything and referral websites are part of ordinary conversation.

Did anyone else here find this offensive?

heh heh the funny thing is.. I think that the post in reply to yours was spam!! LOL look at the address! I could be wrong, but it looks suspiscious me. There are a lot worse OT posts than yours, I wasn't offended...I generally just don't read it if I am not interested, and I think thats what ppl in general do :)

I didn't find it offensive or even looking like SPAM. I'm not childless as my kids are 3 & 6, so I've got several years before they fly the coop. I did check the website you listed, though, and there's nothing for sale there, just a great invite to what sounds like a great group. So how can that be considered SPAM?? I appreciate you adding the OT to the subject.
