Hi! I have been reading the group and I think that finally, my long search has ended! I have been looking for a friendly group of scrappers to join and I may have found it here.
My name is Rachel, but I'm mostly called Rach, age 50, married almost 30 years, two wonderful grownup kids, sweetie of a hubby, but I've just been scrapping a few months and need all the advice I can get! LOL
May I join you if I sit WAY in the back and stay very, very quiet?

Welcome Rach!! You have indeed found a group of friendly scrappers here!! Occassionally we get a troll, we try not to feed it. You may indeed join us, but please, do NOT sit way in the back and be quiet! We love to hear from new scrappers.

Well, isn't this just GREAT. Following my first post here, I received a barrage of insults and complaints. And this guy comes along, and you all welcome him with "open arms." This just isn't right. Oh, I am going to go to the toilet and cry my eyes out now.

asked a few weeks ago regarding everyone's "Top 5" scrapbooking tools. I got a ton of great tips from that thread.
By the way, can anyone tell me how I can automatically have a customized "signature" at the end of my posts (I'm using Google Groups). I noticed that just about everybody has one, including a link to their webshots page, but I can't figure out how to do it! I'm also using MacOSX so that might be the problem...I have found other parts of Google Groups that only work for Windows users.
Anyway, welcome Rach. Sorry to go off on a tangent!
Welcome Rach!! You are welcome and you might as well just sit right up front and join in because you won't be able to keep quiet with this bunch! LOL Hope you are able to share and you sound as if you already have a lot of LO going. Do you have grandkids yet? They are a great source of material!
Hi Rach, welcome to the group! I certainly am looking forward to seeing all that work you've got underway, so please don't be quiet! Let us know why you scrap, who you scrap, where you scrap and what you scrap and of course what you like to use to scrap. With a list like that of things to share, how can you possibly stay quiet, LOL!

Welcome Rach, It's more fun if you sit up close and join in. Six albums at once wow. Mind if I ask what the topics are? I am currently working on 4. A vacation album for a family vacation this past Feb. One for each of my 2 DDs and thanks to this NG and the challenges I finally started my wedding album. I have seen some other interesting ones in the group but don't think I can keep track of more. I am a relative newbie in this NG and love the ideas and information that is shared by everyone.
A word of warning though they are a bunch of enablers, if your not careful before you know it you'll be trying all kinds of new things. And hopefully enjoying it all like I am.
I'm not here to troll this group, I'm from alt.magic and just wanted to relate some info to the members of this group. There is a new poster going under the name of "Wavyg" or "Rachel". Anyone interested in this little scam artist should go over to my group and read for themselves, it will save me a lot of writing. She's a major screwball and not at all the person she claims to be. She has apparently been going all over the internet for years using various identities and wanting to be taken in.
You ladies seem like an honest bunch and I will not post here anymore. I have no idea what this girls true agenda is, other than wanting attention. I did my homework on her over at google.com, you can follow suit and look into it yourselves. When I presented my findings to Rachel she called me a name and said it would be her last post.
This girl is a sociopath, go over to google.com and type in her e-mail address. Her claims of just buying her computer yesterday, yet she posted 1,370 prior posts, prove my point. She's nuttier than a fruitcake.
Actually, * giggling shyly, I do have some questions. I'm sure they've been asked and answered a million times before I got here and I hate to pester people with them again.
I'll create a separate post with them and a proper title so people will know what they are. Thank you for the welcome.
No grandkids yet! My DD and DSIL say three more years, but to be honest, I don;t think it will be that long. I'm already collecting baby scrapbook stuff.
I didn't want to glom up the group by sending so many thank yous, but please be assured that I have read each one of your messages and I thank you all!
