And on my web site I have a couple paper piecings. In "Other Crafts" I have a horse I did from a pattern I got off the internet and a candy corn I got from a book. In "Swap" there is a tag I did with a mom's face. It was my first paper piecing. I created the pattern myself. And there is a notebook I did a pumpkin paper piecing.

I hadn't either until this group encouraged me. They can be as easy and as hard as you want.

Oh my goodness gracious Lynne! I can see that I'm going to be in big trouble now. This looks like something I would love to do! Thank you very much, I'm bookmarking the sites. I have stacks of colouring books - was one of my fav passtimes as a kid :) This is a great idea!

I really love paper piecing too. I get out my exacto knife and my cutting mat and go to town. Coloring books are a great source for patterns. I have a friend that wants to do a Raggety Ann and I found a coloring book with her in it at the Dollar Store.

Another good source of piecing patterns is appliqué. The technique is exactly the same, of course, just a different medium and there are free ones all over the net.

Thank you for these links. I love paper piecing so can't wait to give these links a try. Funny story...I wanted some background paper I created for my DD album for my recipe swap pages. The file I created isn't on my computer any more so I crawled through my favorites looking for the link to the base image so I could recreate it. I found that I have SOOO many scrapbooking links, I couldn't find what I needed! LOL Fortunately, I found it on a backup at home. I guess I need to better organize my scrapbooking links. :-)

Another funny thing...I used this very same frolicking pumpkin paper piecing. It was the very first one I ever did. I'll have to dig out the LO and scan it tonight. I really like what you did with the pumpkins. I kept to the original pattern. Thank you for sharing!

Take care!

Thanks for sharing the websites. I love the first one with the Santa paper piecing. I think I might have to try that now that I have a pattern. Thanks again.
