Proper introduction!

Hi everyone!! Since my first post was in the middle of the"Tell us how YOU became a FLASS" thread, I figured I should properly introduce myself.

My name is Debbie and yes, I'm a FLASS! I'm a single mom (for the past 15 years) living in Newfoundland, Canada. My DS is 18 and my DD is 16. My house is the local hangout for all my DD's friends so I have more teenagers around than I can keep track of!! We have 2 cats (Socks is 12 and Skittles is 11 weeks), and 2 dogs, Sissy, a poodle terrier mix is 7 and our German Shepherd Diego is 19 months. Between the kids and the pets, I can't say that I get much of a chance to be bored! And since I have a digital camera, there's no shortage of photo opportunities either - so I'll have lots to scrap if I can just get past buying and fondling - I mean organizing!! supplies! I'm sure I have enough paper and embellishments to scrap a few dozen albums.

The day after my first post here, I managed to pick out the picture that I'm going to scrap first. Since then I've been having dreams about LO's for it - is this normal? :-)

I'm not new to newsgroups, just new to this one and from what I've read in the few weeks I've been lurking, everyone here seems to be great, caring people who are a lot of fun!!

I'm so glad I found this place!!

Debbie

Welcome Debbie. I'm a Canadian, living with my Mississippi born DH of nearly 6 years. We just moved to Little Rock Arkansas after living in the St.Petersburb/Tampa area of Florida for 6 years. I retired from the Canadian military after serving 25 years just prior to moving to the US. I have a DS who lives 20 minutes from Daytona Beach where he both works full time in the IT department and is studying for an MBA. I have two cats Radar who was born in our home just outside of Montreal and Nuku who was purchased from a pet store during my last posting in Ottawa. Both cats as you can imagine have done a fair amount of travelling.

I've been scrapping for since 2001 and doing crafts such as knitting since before I went to school and yes there are times when I do dream of LOs I'm planning!

Funny I was just looking for a Nfld flag today for something that I'm working on.

Hope we'll hear a lot from you, and that as you go along, you'll be able to share some of your LOs with uw.

Thanks everyone!! I'm glad I'm not the only one who dreams about LO's. I also find that when I'm out shopping, I look at everything differently than I did before - now it's 'how can I use THAT in a scrapbook'! I see embellishments everywhere!
