OT: slow cooker????

I am having trouble with my oven. I am wondering if I can put the canned ham in the slow cooker and let it cook all day with brown sugar & pineapple in it?? Would it turn out ok?? Do I need to add little bit of water? I love to use my slow cooker (mostly use roast beef, chicken & pork chops).
