Mel why not just read around them since they will make new addys all the time and then once your caught up mark all as read. That way you wont have to open them or block them and is whatr i have been doing for a while now. Shaz

that is what I am going to start doing. It is still really annoying. I come on here to relax from the everyday stuff to come on to that. I would never leave this NG, but UUUUUGGGGGHHHHH
I have blocked so many that some of our regular's replies don't make sense to me since I can't see the "other's" replies.

If they'd quote the post they were replying to you wouldn't have that problem, Patty. Which is why "quoting properly" is considered good etiquette and is the standard practice. Its also known as being polite to your fellow news groupers.
