OT: Today is my 13th Wedding anniversary (4th of July)

Just thought I would share with everyone that today me and my DH have been married 13 years. Wow. It has gone by so quick. I was 19 and he was 20 when we got married. When I look back at the pictures we look like babies or kids not even old enough to get married.

Our special day is in my wedding album in my webshots account. We went with the holiday theme. Red, white and blue. Stars and stripes. We had a hog roast with fireworks for the reception. It was a great day.

Don't know excatly what we doing today. The kids spent the night with grandma last night and we went out for supper. So today is family day. I told DH that if he even thought about going out to his shop and working today he was dead meat.

Hope everyone has a great day.

Well you know your husband will never forget what day your anniversary is. hahaha. I love the colors. What great pictures to scrap, because the color scheme was so vibrant. In the picture of you and your husband ... did he have a mullet? That sure brings back memories of that time. Even I had a mullet at one point. hahaha

Happy Aniversary, Lynne

Yes, he did. My little one who is 5 even had one until yesterday. He's got the same white hair as his daddy. Only Tanner has this adorable little curls. I couldn't cut it off. Well, yesterday I finally cut if off. I HATE it. I want his curls back. I would hear everything from: oh I love his hair. His curls are so cute. Then my family would say: You need to cut that off before he goes to school. Well I only did it since he wanted to. I sure hope it grows back fast.

It's fine with me to share the fireworks. I love fireworks. Hope everyone got to go see some somewhere. We went and sat out in the country and watch so we didn't have to fight the crowd in town.

Thanks Sabrina. It never really thought about it when we set the date to get married. It just happened to be the first saturday in july. John still wanted to so I went along with it. At least he can't forget. And planning was easy and fun since we went with the patriot it theme.

Happy Anniversary!!

I just realized what day it is. It's our 15th wedding anniversary today. LOL It's my 2nd time around, DH's first. We had our children before we got married and they were all a part of our wedding party. We got married outside in my mother in laws back yard. It rained cats and dogs all morning which made me nervous, but by the time mid afternoon came along, the skies cleared up beautifully and it turned into the perfect day for a wedding. We had dinner at a nice restaurant for the wedding party and immediate family members, then went back to my mother in laws and sat around the firepit and partied the night away.

I don't even know if DH realizes what day it is. I'm not reminding him...
