Hello everyone I might not be around for a couple of days, depending on how I feel after tomorrow. I have been having some rather bad 'monthlies" and my doctor wants to do a D&C and check it all out. I also have had ovarian cysts and there was evidence of that too on my ultrasound. Wish me luck! This will be the first time I have had this type of thing done, so I am a little nervous. I'll be back to catch up soon!

Good luck to you, and prayers for a quick, uncomplicated recovery! Is it going to be a laprascopy surgery? I've had one of those for my infertility problems, and it wasn't too awful, took about a week to recuperate fully though.

Thank you everybody for your well wishes. My surgery went fine. I think I worked myself up and was relieved it wasnt as bad as I thought it was gonna be. I still have some cramping, and a sore throat and tight chest from the anethesia. My little sister came over from Peoria to take me there and take care of me afterwards so I could rest the day away. She wouldnt let me come in the kitchen to help with supper. AWW....she is so sweet! I am off today to rest and have the option to stay home tomorrow from work if I feel I need to. My employer is very understanding. I got a call from my brother in law last night. He has to have a colonoscopy today, and he didnt know he had to have someone take him or they couldnt't do it. He didnt have any one to take him. So I told him I would take him... I can still rest in the waiting room. Same hospital, same waiting room...lol He is single, and no kids so at least he will have some family with him. Thanks again ya'll!!!

Glad all went well! O had a D&C after my miscarriage, wasn't to bad just got tiered. Hope all goes just as well for your brother! Barb:o)
Glad to hear you are feeling well and it went ok. Sounds like you and your siblings are very close. It's nice to have that.
I hope things went okay. I'm in the same boat. I've had monthlys that lasted 8 weeks! I wont do that again. So far, I'm on day 20! My ob appointment is on Monday. Last time, he said he'd do a d&c, if that didn't work then a partial hysterectomy. We'll see what Monday brings. I've never had one. Not even with my miscarriage (5 years ago, pregnancy before Kendra). :(
If I would have read a post down, I'da read you were fine! lol Anyway you got some history on me as well. I hope all went well with your brother. I'm glad he has someone as special as you to do that for him. There should be more people caring for family like you have. :)
