OT: What are your weekend plans??

In NYC we are expecting flood stage rains so unless michaels has an extraordinary sale with coupons OR IF MY SISTER goes into labor.

In, I stay. So I'll try and work on these:

I plan on slow roasting a beef stew. Working on three more classes for Jads. Do Laundry. :-( Maybe throw in a couple of layouts.

What are you guys doing this weekend?

Hugs, Kate

I'm hanging at home, unless I go see my great aunt.

I've got an all day crop with my monthly crop group on Saturday. My DS and two of my DD's and two of the GDD's are going with me. I'm sure we'll have a great time. Sunday after church we'll probably just loaf around - I always try to spend Sunday after a crop with the youngest DS playing games, etc. to sort of make-up for leaving him all day on Saturday. Kate, I registered on the site to see what your classes were about, but never got a confirmation yet. Sandy

Well, Kate, I am working on some paperpieces for a swap...Jessie the yodeling cowgirl (six). Just finished a tiger (6) for an Annie Lang swap and am working on my recipe pages(11). I will then sit myself in front of the t.v. and watch my Louisville Cardinals basketball team play in the Final Four NCAA tournament. I indtend to do a lot of yelling and jumping up and down. GO CARDS

This morning (saturday) my hubby is working, and I have to finish compiling my immigration paperwork to make myself official... I've been putting it off for the last few weeks because it's such a hassle, but we have to do it sooner or later! This afternoon is laundry time. Tomorrow we have church in the morning and then we have to buy groceries... exciting weekend, isn't it! I told DH that if the weather is good tomorrow we have to skip church and go and do something fun together - I want to go to the Flamingo Gardens with my digital camera in hand... so hope for nice weather! :) ~Karen aka Kajikit Crafts, cats, and chocolate - the three essentials of life

I'm Australian... we had to get a K1 fiance visa for me to come to America and marry my husband... it took four years in all, but alas that's not the end of the process. Now we have to file more paperwork to allow me to become a permanent resident, and eventually MORE paperwork for citizenship. What a PITA... ~Karen aka Kajikit Crafts, cats, and chocolate - the three essentials of life

NOT answering the phones no matter how bad a truck needs moved, what trick fell off the stage or broke or who needs something!!

It is the second and third days I have had off in a moth and I got my first sunburn of te year by finally getting into my flower beds. I got them all cleaned out, weeded, new pretty fencing put up, grass mowed, weed eated, raked leaves, took recycles to base and next door elderly lady shopping.

So I am beat and now to go spend some rtime on the tele with Dell!

Karen, I hear you! I went through the same process as I am a Canadian. Though in my case getting my K-1 only took about 5 months. Getting my conditional permanent residency was realy easy too. Getting the condition taken off was a stinker as they lost the paper work and it took a whole year for them to actually let me know that. I had filed at the same INS office together with my K-2 visa son and he got his permanent card 16 months or was it 18 months before I got mine. But that was all before 9/11. Because we have moved a couple of times in the last 3 years, I've yet to apply for my citizenship. Guess I should get that one taken care of soon! It does get frustrating!
