I got a letter yesterday from Crown Center and they want one of my collections for an upcoming display!
Now let me explain, if you don't mind. Crown Center is a large hotel in downtown Kansas City. It has lots of shopping & dining, even a movie theater, stage theater
OOPS!! I somehow hit the send button mid sentance. Anyway, on w/ my story. The hotel also has an exhibit room and every year they do a "what people collect" show. It's fun to see what everyone is interested in. Some of it can be pretty unusual too. They have a sign up book where you can tell them what you collect. If they're interested for next year they contact you. In the past I've just put 7up on the list. Last year I put nearly everything I have. Well, I got a letter from them. They want my kokopelli collection! The irony is it's my smallest one. Maybe I have 15 pieces and that's pushing it. I'm going to fill out the paperwork though and see if they're still interested. I'm a little disappointed though because my 7up is what I'm real passionate about. I have well over 200 pieces in that collection. Anyway, I just wanted to share. The show lasts May thru June. If you managed to read all of this, thanks and sorry but I do have a tendancy to be long winded. I'm just so happy at being chosen!

That sounds like fun. I have a collection or 2 or 3 also. I would be disappointed if they didn't pick my main one. But I can see why you'd still be excited that they picked one of the collections. Hope you have fun!

You should be so proud and patting yourself on your back.
Don't forget to take pictures of when they are installing your "exhibit" and the "grand opening" so we can see your collection since some of us don't live so close.

Wow that is so neat! Maybe if you include a picture of some of your 7-up collection they will ask for that one for next year.
