Paper cabinet

Woo HOO!!!!

Well when I got home Thursday nite, it was waiting here VERY PATIENTLY for me LOL!

Of course April knew that was why i had to get home n such a hurry or as soon as I wanted or could!

Anyhow I opened it, after I read my snail and email, showered and ate and loved the babies!! Yes, it has to be put together but was really easy. Lee, the owner of the company assured me it was, and plus I have bought and/or put together far more pieces of furniture for me, others and work than I care to know - LOL!

Anyhow the quality of the wood particulate that it is made out of is very good compared to several others I have had experience with. the finish is high quality, it is made in Canada. Like i do for all that I put together, I also use a GOOD wood glue on the joints when assembling as it helps to strengthen the bond and in case you get something of cheap quality it does hold it together - LOL! It only took me about an hour to put the double unit and the single unit that I bought together!

Then came the fun - moving, sorting and storing all that I could it it. WOO HOO!! I am so happy, the looks are great and I have much more it it than I did the other things I had and most of all it looks NEAT. Yes I did take before and after pictures and in next day or two I will work on getting them uploaded to my webshots account and let ya'll know so you can see.

I am very happy with the cabinets and would highly recommend them however admittedly I have to say I feel they are a bit pricey, BUT there is nothing else comparable to them in versatility and quality out there

- YET!

I am so jealous of your new cabinets Dave! They look great on the website, I can only imagine how nice they must look in person. What nice birthday present! :-) I will be looking forward to seeing those before and after pics!!!! I am also glad to hear you took some time for yourself at Aprils. It sounds like THE place to go for some much deserved R&R! Take Care!!

When I'm ready to upgrade, I'll have to get that. Except I think I'd want doors on them to keep the messy look of paper out of site when not using it.

Enjoy, enjoy enjoy.

Kate

PS we're glad you are home safe and sound.

July's Creating Keepsake's has a scrap room that cost less than $400. I love the bench storage for paper and may try to build one for myself.
