I wish I could help you. I don't have the Crickit, Xyron cutter, or the new Wishblade that I've heard about. Hopefully someone here can help you out!

Cathy - I don't own one, but I got to try one on NSD, and loved it. It takes a little getting used to to enter the sizes, and make sure the paper is in right, but over all, I really liked it. I want one! The one thing that I thought about was the addtional cost of the books - around $30 ea. Still, it was a lot of fun to use!

My 2 cents.

Jessica

PS - did you ever get the cruise ship stuff? Thanks!

A friend of mine bought one and brought it to the last crop. We played around with it and it seemed to do what was expected. We had some trouble getting the shapes and letters off the sticky pad, but we were new to it. It did take a little time to figure out the settings for the sizes, but after we got the hang of it we were going to town with the two cartridge books she had purchased with the machine. If I remember right it can only accept a 4x4 piece of paper/cardstock at a time, but will use the max space available to do as many cuts as possible. That is the main reason I'm looking at the cricut - it will do up to 11.5 X

I passed on it because the reviews I read on the Home Shopping Network were mixed, it seems that people either love it or hate it. There seems to be some quality control issues with the product although Xyron will replace the mats if you call and complain.
