Posted a new LO

Well, If hurricane Frances did anything it gave me five days off in row and a chance to complete another layout. The LO is in my Shawn & Maria Album # 6 titled 'Lil Bit' is One Already. The link is in my signature line.

I puzzled over these pictures for quite awhile. Background so busy - Couldn't make up my mind to leave them as is or use Adobe Photoshop to create "magic" and make my own background but then - I saw this LO in CK July issue - that will work! so I lifted it but made it mine own with a color changes to the paper, the addition of my own tag created by scanning the "Small Flowers" (thank you Sheri in Hawaii) and then adding the flowers with pop dots that Sheri swapped in the punchy swap.

I also added two more pages to a LO I did back in Jan 2003 - One of those "scratch you head - where are all the pictures I took" - Duh in the 35mm camera --- not in the digital which I did the LO with!!! These I did not post! but added them to my page count for the year.

thanks for looking!

That is great! I really like every aspect of it but especially "one" - that looks so neat the way it is one piece and outlined like that! She's a cutie too :)

What a cute LO. Elizabeth is adorable. She picked a good day to be born, if June 11 is her birthday. It's mine too. Thanks for sharing.

Love how you did the 'one' title on this Maureen. I also like how it is wonderfully girly without being sickly sweet and full of Barbie pink.

thanks Jules - I'm not into the girly stuff either - raised three sons

- I was a tom boy and now I'm a grandma of (4) granddaughters and (1) grandson - so it's hard for me to even use pink! I always wanted (9) grandsons so I could have my own little league baseball team! Ha!

You're very welcome! Not so good today. Abby just would not go to sleep last night. She has this thing where she doesn't want to be in her bed. So we keep putting her back to bed. What a night.

Ahhhh - that's a tough one especially when you need your rest right now. You're doing the right thing - the most important - being consistent - one exception sends mixed messages - as hard as it is at times I found that to be my "greatest parenting tool".

That is wonderful Maureen! I love the colors that you used and your titling on the page. The little flowers on it that you added are just perfect.! Cute little one!

Its so hard. Last night was pretty good. We got something new that actually worked :) She was doing fine in her own bed until she started being scared of the thunderstorms.

Gosh - bedtime is hard to do! I remember trying to get Hannah in her own bed and then some things happened where we felt she was safer when she was close to us (her bedroom is on the other end). She's been sleeping in between DH and I for quite some time. She started school back for one day and then they were out for the hurricane. Monday was her first day back and she decided to sleep in her own bed Sunday night. She has slept in there for 2 nights in a row (even woke up in the middle of the night and went back to bed when I told her to) and tonight is the 3rd night. I don't know what to do with room to move:)))) Good Luck Tabitha!!!
