in my baby album. One is my first attempt at color blocking. I onlyhad the one photo to deal with, so I had to fill in the page with otherthings.

Next LO is Picnic in the park. We had just been talking about using fiber in our albums and I threw some on here in a effort to start thinking about using it more. It really added some dimension to my picnic basket.

Great LO's Lynne! The fibers really gave deminsion to the picnic basket. I'm going to have to use more fibers in my LOs now!

I love the colorblocked page. That layout is beautiful. The die cuts really pop out of the page with the lighter color.

Great job--you inspire me to finish cleaning so I can do my recipe pages tonight! Jacqui

So cute Lynne. I love your colorblocking on the baby page it looks wonderful, reminds me of a quilt. :) Also...great job on your Picnic In The Park layout. I like the basket weave background paper and the title being on your picnic basket and yes the fiber does give it some dimension. Nicely done!

Hi Maureen,

I used a lazer cut sheet of baby items for the color block page. They were all on the same sheet.

Thank you all for your words of encouragement. I don't think I ever would have tried colorblocking had Shelley not suggested it. She turned me on to great templates. I just got my pictures back from my Disneyland Trip and I'm thinking I'm going to make the goal of doing all the photos in color block style. I didn't take that many photos this trip. Kids are getting older and resistant to getting their photos taken with characters now. haha
