you can search their site to seelayouts done in a certain theme, or with a certain technique. They also have adiscussion forum as well.>I was at a scrapin

show at the mall yesterday and there were various sizes and types in albums >and liked this one that was 8 X 8. Do they sell papers for that size or do >you just buy the bigger paper and cut it to size?

Most scrapbook stores sell paper in 81/2 x 11 and 12 x 12 size.

Also, do any of you buy >from QVC or HSN?

I know the kits on QVC are great. I myself have not bought one yet...(dreaming) one day I will. They pack alot into them for the money you get and the quality is superb.

It is quite overwhelmig to get started. Best to be friends with someone who does it and sare basic supplies at first. Then go little and build up your storehouse!!

I ordered some kits from HSN this summer. I was NOT happy with the quality of them at all, and what they show on tv for the price, well be careful!!. To boot, one of them I had to go around with them for 6 weeks to get my money back. the packing it was in was HORRIBLE. They told me the product came from the manufactor and THEY are the ones who packed it badly.

My suggestion to anyone, if you want a KIT that is easy, find a lss that has like make and takes or other pre-planned page building things. Much better quyality and YOU SEE right then what you are getting!!

Have fun, Welcome and post away!

There is a newsgroup which you post your layouts. Thru outlook express put in a new news account and it would be NEWS.ANNEXCAFE.COM the groups are "news.annexcafe.scrapbook.oz.layouts" and the other is "annexcafe.scrapbook.oz"
