Rubbermaid

At my LSS (Memory Depot) they told me that Rubbermaid containers were safe for storing archival materials. I know they have a shoebox size "Keepsake" line of boxes, but are the larger containers safe as well? There is nothing on the Rubbermaid site that says anything about it either way. I need to store several larger items and the large Rubbermaid containers would be perfect if they are indeed safe. I will just write to Rubbermaid & ask, if no one else has that info already. Here's what I found out from The Preservation Station.

boxes made by Sterilite® and Rubbermaid® are made of high-densitypolypropylene, which is completely inert and thus safe for storage.Conservators use them. Dianne in Austin
