First Annual Winter Scrapbooking Retreat Rocky Gap Lodge and Golf Resort
Where: Rocky Gap Lodge and Golf Resort (Cumberland, MD), just of Interstate 68, Amenities include: beautiful indoor pool, spa (with massages), exercise room, on site restaurant.
When: 10:00 am Friday, February 25 through 10:00 pm Saturday, February 26.
What: An entire two days of scrapbooking, breakouts, prizes, fun and relaxation in a beautiful setting.
What is included:
1/2 of a 6 ft. table for cropping, access to all breakout prizes, scrapbooking goodies AND lunch and dinner on Friday, A full buffet brunch and dinner on Saturday!!!
Cost: $85 early bird (through Feb. 3) or $95 (through Feb. 25)
Cost remains the same if people attend one or two days. No Refunds
Lodging: Rooms are available at the Lodge for a total cost of $71.80 including taxes and fees. Up to 4 people can share a room. Call 1-800-724-0828 to reserve your room. Be sure to ask for the Winter Scrapbooking Retreat block of rooms. They are holding this rate for us until January 30.
Regarding food: this is an on-site restaurant and bar. Food/drink purchased at these facilities maybe brought up to the cropping room. No outside food or delivery is allowed.
BONUS: There will be an embosser on site to emboss your albums with words, designs, etc. She has been at the Altoona retreats the last 3 times and is always deluged with orders. Bring just your coversets and have them done to match if you like. She is reasonably priced and does a beautiful job!
