Sewing Machine for Scrapbooking

Dec 10, 2005 2 Replies

I always see these great pages in Scrapbooking magazines with stitching and would like to find an inexpensive sewing machine that works well for card stock and scrapbook pages. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Thanks

Do you already have a sewing machine? If so I just use dull needles on mine. That's because the paper will dull the needle anyway. If you don't have a machine already I'm sorry I can't help.

I agree with you on both counts Ronni. A friend of mine who sews and needed a new machine bought the Singer at Walmart and she says it works great. On the other hand a friend wanted me to get her "Craft" machine to work and it was a total piece of crap. I could get it going, but it just didn't work well.
