Shocking!!

I actually scrapped!!! Isn't it amazing?!?!?! LOL I made a mini album about how DH & I met. I've been working on it since Saturday and just finished it this evening. I used a SU scrapping kit that I've had. I still have 2 whole sheets of cardstock, and 2 whole sheets of patterned cardstock. Plus several cardstock stickers. I'm not sure what I'll do with the rest of the kit, but I'm pleased with how it turned out. I'll post picstures of it tomorrow. I'm much too tired, and still fighting a headyache that I've conversed with all day.

Okie dokie. The album is uploaded now. It's in the Misc. Layouts album, the first 4 pictures. I really had fun with it, and now I'm really wanting to get started on our wedding album. It's only been 9 years. LOL

Deb, I really like the way your album turned out. The pockets and tags are great. You said it was an SU kit...is that Stampin Up? I always worry about cutting a photo like you did for the center one, but it worked out perfect. Thanks for sharing, Sandy

Thanks Sandy. I'm pleased with it. I'm thinking it will be part of our wedding album, but I'm not sure. Yes, it's a Stampin' Up kit. I tend to shorten it to SU a lot, especially when I'm tired. LOL I've never cut a picture before, so this was a first for me. But I'm really pleased with how it turned out. And I didn't have to cut anybody in half, either! LOL

Deb,

Your album is just BEAUTIFUL! I love it! I also love how you included so much informatoin in such a little album. And I like the colours and how the album has a really nice and delicate feel to it. (I always try to do little albums that are nice and co-ordinated and include a lot of information but never quite manage it...it ends up looking untidy instead)

I have taken some photos of my husband and me being silly in the garden last week (and yes, I look more silly than him in the photos...) and I am thinking about making it into a little album soon...

Thank you for sharing. Klara

Thanks Tammy! That was the hardest part...finding photos that would work and that I could crop down enough to fit. It was one of those projects that I made first, then decided what pictures to use. Totally backwards from what I ususlaly do! LOL

LOL Go to my Yahoo photos page. The link is in my sig. Then go to the Misc. Layouts album. It's the first four pics.

Thank you Klara! The journaling tag, (number 3) is actually double sided. It helped that I did computer journaling. LOL It was easy to do since it was all one kit. The only thing that didn't come in the kit was the alphabets, which I stamped, the ink pad, the marker I used for the handwritten things, and the ribbon. Thank you for the compliments! DH seemed to like the mini album, too. I'd love to see your mini album when you finish it!

That's a really cute kit. Is it in the latest catalog or the SU scrapbook catalog?

Yes, it's in the current catalog. I got it in 2004 or 2005, planning on using it in our wedding album, but have since then changed my mind. So it's been sitting here, waiting to be used. Found a use for it! LOL I think the rest of the kit may be used for cards, not sure yet.

Cool!! That's a awesome album. I love that kit. I have a mini album made from it, just doesn't have any pics on it yet. You've inspired me to do it..

PS- I figured out the problem..it wouldn't let me see the pics cause I didn't have the full addy from your signature. It was disguising the email from me...

I had this problem before when we were on AOL I could not view any of Deb's layouts on yahoo. We are now on verizon and I still can't view her pages. It says there are no pictures in your album. What am I doing wrong. Would love to see your album, it sounds wonderful.

Have you cleared your temp fies recently? Also try hitting refresh. "Sometimes" one or both of those will help you see things that you couldn't before.

Well go put those pics in it! LOL I'm pleased with it, too. It was fairly simple to make, too. If anybody is interested, I'll get the instructions back out that I used and post them here.

Hmmm....that is so strange. What about typing in the address? I don't know if you've tried that yet, but you never know. And just in case the link in my sig is hiding something on your end.... the link is:

I'm also sending you an invite straight from my Yahoo page. Maybe that will fix the problem.
