I was hoping to get this in time to use it for the recipe swap and it finally came! Upon opening the box, I noticed how lightweight and small it is. It is smaller than my printer. It came with the driver disk, three blades, the sticky mat, usb cords, direction book, and a holder for a ball point pen, in case you want to draw instead of cut. Which is a great idea for your own patterned paper, etc... It took two minutes to get it out of the box--I was being extra careful. Fifteen minutes to set it up, and within twenty minutes I had it cutting. It only takes a minute to cut what would have taken me hours. The machine is relatively quiet. I expected a lot more noise from it, but it is about as noisy as a bubblejet printer was when they first came out. I am concerened about the warranty. It is just a 90 day warranty, I feel that for the price of the machine, I would expect something longer. The customer service at QuicKutz seems to be good. I called to see when the machines would be out and got an actual person on the phone right away. The manual does not have instructions on creating your own GSD files nor does it have instructions on using TTF files. Figuring it out was not hard. There are a lot of free GSD files on the internet if you look, just like there are many free fonts. It is easy to use another GSD file that does not come with the cutter, just click on the file and the program pops up. The cutting mat is very sticky and it is hard to get the die off of the mat. I have found using a credit card or one of those Pampered Chef scrapers works just fine. Overall I am happy with the purchase. DH is happy I do not have to buy a lot of dies or patterns to stay happy. I would highly recommend this craft cutter. BTW--I believe it is just like the Craft Robo. QK even uses the Craft Robo software for this machine so it is probably the same thing. Hope this helps someone! Jacqui
