Slightly OT: New pictures, that will be oneday scrapped

Last month the boys had their military ball and award ceremony. We were invited so of course we went! I have uploaded several of the pictures in my Webshots account. The boys received several very special awards. DS #2 recieved an award that was given to 1 student, in each of the 4 grades, for scholastic excellence (being in the top 10% of their class, in the entire school), and for military pride. DS #1 recieved an award for Scholastic excellence, community involvement (he volunteers alot) and the desire to serve his country. This award was only given to one student in the Central Arkansas area. I was floored they got awards as there are over 200 students in ROTC in their school so they had alot of stiff competition. The girlfriends all looked wonderful! And I must admit that DH and I cleaned up pretty nicely! LOL

Wow Kenda I can't believe how big your boys are getting! They look so handsome in uniform. I can see why you are so proud of them. Quite a departure from the underwear on the head. hahahaha

LOL You are so right Lynne! I had to laugh to think you remembered the underwear on the head! ROFL I can hardly believe myself just how big they are getting. Time is going by too fast! Enjoy your babies now cause they won't be babies for long!

You all look wonderful. Congrats to both your sons for their awards. I was in JROTC and understand how hard those awards are to earn. You must be very proud of them both.

Awesome, Kenda! Nick if anything looks taller and even slimmer! They both do look great in uniform and you are right about you and Alan cleaning up good! As for the OLDER girlfriend, does that mean there is also a YOUNGER girlfriend???

Great pictures. Thanks for sharing. In the picture of you and your DH by yourselves, it does look like he was being a little orney. My DH hates getting his picture taken.

Nick is taller and slimmer. The boy is getting tall again, and still eats ALL the time! The older girlfriend just means that she is older than him. He has a bunch of "friend girls"! LOL

Thank you Deb! This is one of the very few times you will ever see me in a dress so get a good look! LOL It was very nice to see the entire family dressed nicely at the same time....

Sheesh, DH was worse than DS #2! I had to threaten him to get him to stop being silly. LOL It was fun though.
