Sony PictureStation kiosk?

So, there's a FedEx/Kinko's near me with the Sony PictureStation kiosk, which I've never used. And it says on the website in addition to making prints from digital media, it can scan your actual photo and make prints from it, which is exactly what I need since I don't have the negatives or extra copies of all these old prints.

Has anyone here ever used it? Comments?

I did that once with a Kodak one at Wal-Mart. I used a picture of my boys to make Christmas cards. It scanned great.

I've used the Kodak one at Wal Mart but not a Sony one. How much are the prints? It was really easy to use the one at Wal Mart, and the prints come back great.

Haha, get this. The prints are 59 cents. The Kodak kiosk at the Eckerds near me is 27 cents I think, and it says on their website that you can make a print from a print, but then at the store the guy tells me you have to have it on cd or memory stick. But I need copies of 20 year old photos and some polaroids, I don't have a cd burner, and even if I did it won't read cd's burned from a Mac.

So, I go to Kodak's website, to try to find out where another kiosk is near me, so I can call and see if it will do what I need. And, first off, their website doesn't work on IE on a Mac, so I try Safari, and it's so buggy I actually yelled at the screen. Kept getting "page not found" after I had already seen that page and just hit the back button. Tried typing in my zip code to locate a kiosk, and nothing. Didn't work. So, I'm pissed at Kodak and even if I found one of their kiosks near me that would make a copy from a print, and even if they dropped their price to like, 5 cents a print, I still wouldn't use it. I'm that pissed. I'll go ahead and spend the extra money on the Sony one. For only 8 pictures, I'm not too worried. Plus, the Fed/Ex Kinko's is 24 hours, which totally rocks.

59 cents...ouch! How is your hunt for someplace to make your copies going? If Wal Mart is in your area, I believe their Kodak kiosk station is 36 cents (or less, I can't remember) and you do NOT have to have the pictures on a CD. You scan the pictures in and tell the machine what size reprints you want. (No, I don't work at Wal Mart, just do a lot of shopping there. LOL) So sorry for taking this long to post. The last several days have been crazy and messing up the muscles in my shoulders/neck really didn't help any.
