Storms in Central Florida

Storms? What did I miss? I hope you Florida gals are ok!

Some tornadoes came through earlier today (Friday) and caused a lot of devastation, and some deaths. :*(

We're are fine here. Shaun, my DS moved from Deland to Altamonte Springs last week. As far as I know both he and his gf who lives and works in Deland are OK!

We are doing good. We are just having a lot of rain. Thanks for thinking of us. Getting ready to have dinner with hubby. Both kids are gone :) Have a great evening.

I'm fine thanks... we live three hours drive south of Orlando. We were worried about John's sisters (who live in Orlando) but they're fine - the storm path was a good fifty miles north... (one thing - I think I've changed my mind about wanting to move to Orlando - my friend and her husband lived in a trailer park in Lake County and their trailer park was flattened by a tornado on Christmas day! Fortunately they were away visiting relatives at the time, and their trailer wasn't one of the flattened ones...)

I am so glad all our ladies are safe! Big hugs to all!

GRR!!! I posted to this thread yesterday and couple others and they are not here!!

I ma so glad to hear, bu know none of OUR family is there where they hit, per se, but still close enough that concerns and thoughts are warrated!!

I have a high school gal pal in lady Lake, 2 blocks from that church that was destroyed and a frind in Deland where it hit about a mile from their house. I talked to both yesterday and they are ok and Thankful!!
