Supply Question

What is chipboard and where do I get it? I see this supply mentioned quite a bit in things I want to try, but I don't know what it is or where to get it.

Hi.

It is a thin piece of wood that you can find in Michaels or AC Moore. Think of those ornaments made of thin wood that you painted in Elementary school.

Lynne, I use/keep the heavy cardboard that comes with the Slab packs. Also keep the cardboard that divids the canned cat food, it's about 7.5" x 5". Also can use the back of legal pads, steno pads. It is all the same. You can purchase it at Hobby Lobby in the art supply area, where they have the packs of different types of drawing paper. I went to purchase some then looked at it real close and decided what I had at home was the same. It can be easily cut with a sizzix.

I was talking the LSS out of the pieces of cardboard that come on the backs of pkgs of paper until they figured out I was using it instead of chipboard. Now they save it for their classes. Sandy

I have saved cardboard from the backs of paper pads, notebooks, box dividers, things of that sort! I dont know how much chipboard is, but if its cheaper to use cardboard, then its a plus for me! :-)
