tags arrived

My tags arrived - they are all lovely - thanks for running this swap Kelly! A couple of them didn't have any names on them though so I don't know who made them - thats a shame! But they are wonderful thank you!

Jane,

Mine are from the Primary swap. It's actually the bag I sent it in I think LOL I had the SMILE and Say Cheese pieces.

Glad you got yours! Susan in HRVA AF Wife to David Mom to CG, my angel Gareth, and Matthew

The tags I made for the swap were the pastel textured with eyelash fibers. Forgot my name, sorry but oh well that's what's called a 'senior moment'.

I forgot my name also. I was so concerned with mailing them out... I totally forgot. My tags are the primary with the paper tearing and black fiber.

Patty your were wonderful! The right way? Shoot, after seeing everyone's tags I felt like I was very uncreative. Kelly

I was unable to put my name on the tags for the neutral swap because the ink would show though the paper. I made the ones with the gold heart buttons on them.

I think I put my name on the ones I made for the primary swap, but just in case...they are the ones on white corrugated paper with the red and blue stars.

And last but not least, my DD participated in the pastel swap ...she made the ones with the little chalked butterflies on them.

No.... Thank you! :) I scraplifted the SMILE idea and fudged with the Say Cheese. My friend suggested the Say Cheese and I ran with it.

I had so much fun doing it. (And did two versions of the smile... we won't go there LOL)

I can't wait to do another swap... when we get back from Disney and get school started at Labor Day :) Susan in HRVA AF Wife to David Mom to CG, my angel Gareth, and Matthew

speaking of scraplifting - when Carol and I were at SDU this weekend, they showed us a page with the a very similar variation of your smile tags! I thought it was such a small world to see that same idea. BTW, our instructor said if you don't scraplift some things you might not be able to build your own creativity.

I really think it's true. I mean when we go to the LSS, we're looking for ideas, and while we don't necessarily copy it completely, we give it our own twist. I'm learning to adapt the things there are out there to MY liking :) Susan in HRVA AF Wife to David Mom to CG, my angel Gareth, and Matthew
