Temporary tattoos

I had a thought, I was wondering if you can use temporary tattoos in scrapbooking. I know they can stick to paper because I used to decorate cards with them, you just have to be careful not to get too much water on your paper. I just wonder how long they would last, if spraying them with a product like Preserve It would help them last longer, and if they leach off anything harmful to photos. I'd have no idea how to find this out.

I don't know how long they would last, either. I would be more concerned about whether or not they were acid free, etc. I do believe there is an acidic tester pen that you can find. I know we've discussed it here before, but for the life of me, can't remember what it's called. You could always test it on a piece of scrap cardstock, or a copy of a photo and see how it works.
