Do you know of any other stores that sell ribbons like this? I need some bright colored patterned ribbons for a paper bag album and I don't want to buy a whole roll.

Cathy...did you check out the Grab Bags page. She has bags of ribbon and fiber in colour families and each ribbon/fiber is about a yard in length. She used to run a Monthy Kit Club.

Since she is closing down it is first come first serve but if you want something specific you could send her an email and ask if she has what you are looking for. I had only started to buy from her but she has a fab reputation on several forums I frequent so I am sad that she is ceasing to trade. :(

Yes I saw the bags but I am more of a visual shopper, I want to see what I will be getting before I buy. I bought a grab bag from ebay this week (not from this lady) and was very disappointed because out of 15 ribbons 13 of them were solid colors and only 3 of them were of appropriate size to use with a paper bag album.

I doubt someone who is selling grab bags will let me pick and choose what I want when I would only be buying one bag. There was a store called fibersby the yard that sold fiber in 1 yard lengths and you could pick exactly what fibers you wanted. I was just hoping there was a store that like but with loads of ribbon to chose from.

I just had a quick look at the email Tricia sent saying she was closing down and I see that she listed all remaining stock into to grab bags. I know that people had recommended her for supplying ribbon/fiber to suit their needs. That was why I sent a link through. Sorry it didn't suit your needs :(
