I was inspired by an eMail my sister sent me so I just scrapped it and the Dennis the Menance comic helped:

What a cute layout. I love the journaling and that is the perfect comic strip to use. That's a great piece to scrapbook.

I laminated the comic strip to preserve it for generations and then attached it to the layout as I couldn't find the "preserve it" spray. Of course I found it after I laminated it but isn't that always the case?

That's really cute Kate!

Kate had the inscriptions in the comment section, Here they are: Journalling on top: 1)how many nights of interrupted sleep can you handle before your body shuts down on you: 5. 2)what one single word spoken over and over agian has the same effect as chinese water torture: why? 3)on average how many times a day will you be required to play rescue mickey mouse, flushed away or curious george: 10. 4) exersize verbal discretion when sarah's sunday school teacher comments on how polite and sweet is during class. earn bonus points for getting into heaven by not educating the same woman on how the child acts at home. 5) has my alsmost three year old daughter spent so much time in the corner one day that she probably thought her house only had two sides, yes. 6) does having a daughter who wraps her arms around my neck and says -- you are the best mommy of my whole world of my life-- make it all worthwhile, yes. Dennis the Menance comic strip reads "I'm not being' difficult, I'm bein' myself!"

thanks M-C by the time I noticed the request, you had "pasted" my notations.

Kate

That is so cute! Definately a great item to remember, and the comic had just the right sentiment.

Great layout Kate. I love the journaling and the comic.
