Things have been very exciting in the Sure Cuts A Lot (SCAL)forums. Aside from being able to cut any TT font or dingbat on your pc there are also .svg files that be downloaded off the web or created in a free program called Inkscape. I am just learning this program but I hope to scan all my sizzix diecuts and make a svg library of them. I haven't had much time to play with it yet as my Mom is in the hospital and it leaves me with little time to play.
Many of the other cutters like Robocraft, KnK, Wishblade, etc use .gsd files. Those who have Adobe Illustrator can convert those files to .svg and use them with the SCAL program and the Cricut. One women in the group has the program and is converting the noncopyrighted gsd files that she has and will share them with the group. Hopefully someone will come up with something that will allow you to convert the files without having the Adobe Illustrator.
