What I have learned lately....

regarding using ribbon. Maybe one should choose the ribbon first and then choose paper and embellishment to match it. I've done 2 projects with ribbon and both times it was a MAJOR challenge to find ribbon to match or coordinate. I'm thinking it might be easier to choose a ribbon since there are fewer choices and then match the paper since there are more choices.

I've learned that trying to make a simple layout isn't always easy. It was actually challenging for me to make a simple layout for this upcoming scrapbooking class! I don't consider my layouts that elaborate, but I know they're not always simple. But I figured making a simple layout wouldn't be that hard! Boy was I wrong. LOL

That the layout you do in your mind is much different that the one you do on paper! I have been working on the Feb. challenge for the last couple of days and it just isn't working. I don't know if it's the paper I picked or what. Oh well, I don't have to work tomorrow so maybe I can sit down and finally figure it out!
