One sheet wonder technique

A couple years ago Stampin' Up had classes on this technique. My SU lady never had one. I remember being very intrigued by the idea. What you do is take one sheet of white card stock and stamp all over it Varying the placement of stamps so they "face" in different directions when cutting into pieces. Then they had directions on how to cut the sheet up to have embellishments to make 10 cards.

At the time I jotted down how the sheet was cut, but didn't have examples of how they were used in the cards. I'm not very creative that way myself. I finally asked my SU lady and she said she had 10 cards and instructions on how to do it and would lend it to me. Last night I made 10 cards. I had SO much fun. I didn't have fiber to completely finish them, but there is a basic picture of what I did in my "Cards" album. When I find matching fiber or ribbon I'll post better pictures.

Fantastic! I've wanted to do that for several years but never get around to it. You did a great job and I love the colors. Thanks for sharing.

There is one posted at this web site. Be aware this site loads up very very slowly for me and I have a cable modem. Don't know what's going on there.

The template is different from mine and I noticed it did have a scrap left over. Mine does not. I'll have to scan mine and upload it. It also has the card examples with the template link too. Very helpful in putting the cards together. Especially if you want to do it fast and not wing it.

The above is the link to the sheet pattern I used. Only difference is where it says EXTRA that piece is used on card #6. Lynne

Great job, Lynne! Those are really pretty cards. And no scraps left....doesn't it feel good to use all the pieces?

How pretty and no scraps, can you post how the sheet needs to be cut or is it already posted somewhere!

Interesting idea... I could see using a very special sheet of printed paper that way... it might be a cute use for a Serendipity Sheet too.

Here's another template I found on the web, for using 8-1/2x11...
