One Sheet Wonder Swap ideas

I'm figuring on either 5 or 6 people to sign up. If we do 5 ...each person will receive 2 cards from each swap including 2 back of their own. If we do

6 people each person will receive 2 cards from each swap and NOT 2 back of their own.

The idea is to rubber stamp a sheet of card stock using 2 to 3 stamps minimum to make a random design. Then the sheet is cut up using the pattern sheet I provide. In addition to pieces of the stamped sheet coordinating card stock will be used along with coordinating ribbon/fiber and an occasional eyelet or other embellishment of your choice to decorate the cards. Take a look at the link below to get an idea of cards are decorated.

I was thinking we could have catagories of cards and each person could pick a catagory for their 10 cards they make. Examples would be making 10 "Thinking of you" cards, or 10 "Thank you" cards, or 10 "Get Well" cards, or 10 "Friendship" cards. I am open to whatever sentiment stamps you have, but it has to be something everyone in the swap could use. Let me know what you have. We shouldn't have to go out and buy a stamp. Things like "Happy Mother's Day" or "Happy Father's Day" are not topical right now. I'd be open to "Happy Halloween" or "Merry Christmas" if everyone in the swap could use a card like that.

  • Cards will need to be 5 1/2 X 4 1/4 inches
  • One Sheet Wonder pattern will be used per the sheet I provide
  • Once Sheet Wonder pieces will be used on each card per the designs I provide The above is layed out to help you quickly decorate a card. All your thinking power goes into the creativity in designing your rubber stamped sheet and the card stock and embellishments you use to decorate each card. Colors you use are also your choice when making up your design. I've used plain white cards as a background and I've used colored cards depending on my design.

One last question... do we want to include envelopes or provide our own? Any questions or ideas welcomed.

OOOH!! I'd love to do this. I'm open to 5 or 6. I'd recommend that we just swap cards. We all have envelopes, that would cut down on the bulk of the shipping.
