What's a FLASS

Hey June, I have been part of this group for a while and I do not know what a FLASS is either! Not to worry!! ~:o) We will all find out eventually! LOL

I don't think it was something you said. Sometimes our posts don't show up so yours may not have. A FLASS is a paper Floozy (someone who loves paper and really collects it) plus an A.S.S. (someone Addicted to Scrapbooking Supplies). Many of us are paper Floozies and A.S.S.es so someone combined them and now many of us are confessed FLASSes! I know I am one, and dearly hope a cure is never found! LOL Thankfully my DH is understanding (or at least tries to be, he just shakes his head when I've been out feeding my addiction!)

I hope that answers it for ya but not confuses ya! LOL

Thank, Peggy. That's my daughter. Her birthday approaches and I've been given the name of the scrapbook store from whence she would like a gift certificate. And the information (and subtle instruction) that if it's purchased so she has it in her hot little hand BEFORE her birthday, she can use it ON her birthday for a 30% discount on her total order.

Think I should get her a gift cert? (Does a bear sh** in the woods?)

I have to admit I don't know either. Don't you feel like an outsider until you learn the lingo?

gift cert great idea, my mum has just got me SB thingys for birthday, i plan to tell her she has too before she gets the visa bill!! LOL

It's been ordered. :-) I won't bother with the disguise -- the fact that she has to have it in her possession ON her birthday in order to get the discount means that I will send it to her at least a week ahead of time -- and she'll have that figured out in a heartbeat.

It's a good idea, though. My husband once did something like that to me and did such a masterful job of opening a sealed box and resealing it with different contents that I was clueless.
