Hey Ronni, I meant to ask you, what happened with having to move out and all that? Did things get resolved? Kenda and I were both wondering if we missed things starting to go your way!??

well its been up and down... martin got to go back to work for a few weeks.. we almost got caught up on bills and then he got laid off again... he just went back this week.. since it was the same job, he didn't get unemployment anymore either.. annoying... we are making it but its frustrating... I've never been so poor in my life it seems... but God provides. I'm in school full time and if I have to live in my car, I'm finishing. I'm tired of junk happening... last time it was cancer.. well this time around I'll be taking my finals in the hospital if I have to. I'm just frustrated not having my degree already. Martin got a few advanced credits for job experience and he will have his certification by June it looks like, which means he can be placed in a good paying job then.. so we just need to make it through winter... he gets finacial aid next month so we are getting fuel oil and new heat tapes and putting up new skirting (pipes froze last winter)... so we should be warm. We also found out that our church co-owns a place where we can get some food if it gets really bad (only had to do that once) but all in all its better than it has been. I started a scrapping group at my church and ladies on SBA donated supplies and trimmers and one lady here donated about 300 dollars worth of idea books and stuff to me for it. I kept about half the idea books until I read them all! LOL... lacey from here walked away with a bit of paper (amy could have but she didn't.. LOL) And they both got some nice door prizes. It seems that the more we manage to tithe (which is hard when your behind on your bills) the more our needs are met. Not kidding... get this... our church had a skid of window air conditioners donated... nice ones with remotes and all... and they gave us one... which rocks because we borrowed the one in the living room and the one in our bedroom was working when it felt like it, and considering we both have sleep apnea and need a cold room to sleep in, it was annoying... we were at church and it was in the bulletin anyone that needed a new ac to let them know.. so we asked and they gave it to use the next day... nice whirlpool one too. Our electric almost got shut off and a fairy godmother of mine paid it for us until we get back on our feet. We are still behind on a bunch of stuff but not so far behind that anything could get shut off. We keep getting threatened with eviction but with the finacial aid and all, we will pay them up current praise God! We just had to wait. We are praying that Martin keeps working steady and that he will get hired on permenant somewhere... this temp stuff is annoying but even with his qualifications, its the only way places hire anymore around here. Pray he gets in to this company please.. its easy work and they pay VERY VERY well and have fantastic benefits (my graduation present to me will be a gastric I hope!!!).

I can't wait to meet you all and see you in person. Thank God for free airfare huh? You all have been such a blessing to me and martin... ears to yack off, friends to hold us up... we are blessed to know you all and I'm so proud to be a "RCS paper floozie" LOLOL "M-C" wrote in message news:mvadnW3JMN snipped-for-privacy@comcast.com...

What a story you poor thing. I know what you mean. My husband quit his job in March so he could start his own lawn mower repair business. Things are going ok. I'm getting my mortgage and bills paid, but that's about all. We go month to month. I'm scared for this winter to come. He's got people saying they will have stuff to work on, but that doesn't make me feel better. I love winter, but I can't wait until next spring. Everyone's been saying the first year is the toughest. I believe them. At least I'm working. So good luck and I will be thinking of you and Martin. Good luck with school.

I'm still here MC. Nothing's changed. Hubby had an interview this past Friday, but that's been the only one. The company said they would get back to him this week. A school district here in town has his resume, and they told him today that finalists are being chosen & interviews should be Tuesday & Wednesday. So if we don't hear from that district by Thursday, it's probably out of the picture. Financially we're doing good. God's taking care of us. I'm just hanging in there and waiting. I'm trying very very VERY hard not to get stressed, but I'm still stressing. :-) More than likely if there's no job here in town or in AR by Oct 14th or 15th, we'll take a leap of faith & move to NM.

I'm going through with packing because even if we stay here in town, we know we'll be moving, just don't know when. So I'm packing the non-essential stuff. I even packed up my scrapbooking papers, albums, pics, embellishments, etc. My Stampin' Up stuff is staying out until the last possible minute!!!! Gotta have my stamps out....makes a great stress reliever when I have the energy to. :-)
