Recollections Store

Does anyone know anything about the Recollections scrapbooking stores? They seem to be a really nice chain store. They just opened up a store by me by the Arrowhead mall and the 1st 100 people got a free goodie bag with scrapbooking stuff in it. I got one! Some of the prices seem to be pretty steep but they have beautiful stuff in there and a lot of stuff that I have never seen. They also have a huge cropping room, nice break room, and a little play area for the kids. If anyone here is from Arizona they should check it out and if you hurry you can get a free goodie bag.

Hi Amy,

You probably won't recognize my name, I tend to lurk often. But, I wanted to comment on your question. Recollections started in the North Dallas market a couple of years ago now. They are owned by Michael's. You will find some things are a little pricey. They do have a wide selection of colored card stock which I enjoy. The one thing I really don't like about the store is the way it's set up by theme. It's sometimes hard to find a certain sticker because it's with the holiday instead of in the sticker aisle. The store is based on themed areas and what every is left over that doesn't fit in the theme gets put into a different place. Kind of confusing some times. They do have crops on weekends. Ours also includes dinner for $10 which is 6 to midnight. We seem to be losing all of our mom and pop LSS, so it's nice to have Recollections.

Hope that helps. Myra

PS. Love your Disney pages.
