speaking of cardstock!

My mom went to Costco which is a couple of hours drive and called me on her cell. "They have 500 sheets of colored cardstock for thirteen something, do you want it?".

Naw, I can resist that. Riiiigghhhttt. She said there was 3 or 4 shades of blues, purples, greens etc. with black, white, gray, yellow, and by that time I was like, stop! I'll take it! I haven't even seen it yet, hope I like it, but I can't imagine not liking it really.

I bought a pkg of cardstock like that from Costco and it's great! ALOT of paper-I split mine with a friend. Some colors you may not use for layouts but they are great for cards ect. and it work out to about .06 cents /sheet and who can beat that! Barb:o)

Oh my! I'm jealous... I'm also off to Target tomorrow to get one of their 'blue packs' of cardstock. I've started working on the baby album this afternoon and I've realised that I don't have any coloured cardstock to make mounts! I've been using the patterned paper I bought but I need to add some stuff to it. :) ~Karen aka Kajikit Crafts, cats, and chocolate - the three essentials of life

It's funny that you start talking about Target because that is where I work part-time. I don't know where you guys are but I'm in SC and at the store I work at, they put almost all of their scrapbooking section on clearance until a couple of weeks ago because they had to make room for all of the new stuff. I was so excited to see the new section! Liza Gibbons has her own line of scrapbooking stuff that they have taken on. With my employee discount, I hope to eventually have one of everything. My DH thinks they shouldn't pay me by the hour, they should pay me with scrapbooking supplies. He thinks I would want to work full-time then. LOL.

Jennifer, I'm in SC, too! I go in there fairly often and there is almost ALWAYS some good scrapping stuff on sale. The other day I got an entire box of LOVELY high quality tags in red and silver for $1.50!

I hear lots of people say they love Target compared to Wal-Mart. I start wishing everyone would go to Wal-Mart around 9pm most nights though. LOL. And teeny-boppers. I wish they would all go Wal-Mart. They come in and try the shoes on and leave them in the floor or knock clothes off of the rack and LEAVE IT on the floor! Most adults pick them up and put them back. (At least when they see a red shirt-khaki pant person near.) Last night, now that we have these aggravating flip-flops and half of them were on the floor from being tried on and then what wasn't on the floor was just thrown back wherever instead of the right spot, I had to redo the whole section. I was there til 12:30am!

Dave, you are not alone. I am also a paper fluzzie. I love paper! My biggest problem is where to store my 12 x 12.

I am,too. Its how I found out I was a scrapper by nature. I'm the only woman I know who would rather shop at the office supply store than the clothing store.LOL

Small world after all. My grandson lives in Myrtle Beach. I make a trip there a couple of times a year. Would love to know locations of some LSS in the area. Sandy

We should do lunch sometime when you're coming through. Or at the beach. We go there quite often in the summer.

There's a BIG Michaels on 501 in Myrtle Beach, but I haven't been doing this long enough to find other places. I'll work on that this year and let you know what I find.

Last time I was down that way, I noticed a Ben Franklins craft store. Ever been there?
