new SCRAPBOOK Store!! WOW

Hi Everybody, Well, I went to the New Scrapbook store with my DH and 16 mo. son. It was ABSOLUTELY GREAT!! ~:o) It is so nice to have a place where I can go and get specialty items without having to wait for a shipment via USPS or UPS. They had really nice items ( some a little pricey); some of the items they carry I have made my self (IE: the stickers that have the micro glass beads on them). Overall, they had really nice things. They have a whole wall full of stickers on the reel.I joined there mailing list and I am sure I will be visiting again real soon. Does anyone else live on Long Island that belongs to this group? I know Alessandra said she lived on LI but I do not know where about.

PS: I purchased some Mulberry 12 x 12 paper metal embossing kit, firework stickers by Mrs. Grossman. Didn't want to go to CRAZY!!!

Dorothy, You did very well with your purchases!! I can't ever get out of a LSS without spending at least $100. My DH has learned to just pay and not roll his eyes ! LOL

LOL I know what you mean Sabrina, I just seem to get in a 'zone' at my LSS. Hubby is sooooo good to me though and encourages rather than discourages my obsessions. Even bought me two different totes when I first got started because we don't have a good place for me to keep my stuff....yet. (wouldn't surprise me if his eyes are rolling behind my back though lol) I justify the amount I spend by the fact that it gains me 'punches' in my shopper card and when I hit that magic number, I get free stuff (well, a dollar amount off the next huge purchase anyway)
