New LO First for new year

I actually got a page done last night. I used the colorblocking method, which I'm still trying to be more creative with. I hear it can be a fast way to scrap, but I can tell it's going to take practice. Took me 2 hours to do one page. Look in my baby albums for a picture of last nights LO.

Best Wishes,

Lynne, Northern California

Good work Lynn! I did a two page color blocking last night and it took me about 3 hours. I like color blocking, it looks great but it does take awhile! Barb:o)

Love it Lynne! Looks like you've allready mastered the blocking method. If it goes faster, I must also look into it, because I scrap VERY slow. :)

I was thinking when I went to cut out 2 colors for the matting on the colorblocking I should have cut out enough for 2 pages. I only cut enough for one page and it was have been just as easy to cut for 2. Then I would have had 2 pages to complete. That was something I learned last night.

Lynne, on "Bundle of Love" what did you use as the matting? It looks like lace. Was it a paper, some of those Mrs. Grossman's stickers I saw or fibers that you used?

Anyhow I loved your colorblocking!! You must have taken Caitlin's lessons to heart! I love color blocking, but I do it differently. LOL!

nada for 05 (unless redoing or adding things to pages counts!)

Hi Dave,

The matting is something I got off a sales table a while back. It is laser cut paper. I remember seeing them hanging in Scrapbook stores and they were kind of expensive. So, when they went on sale I bought one of every different theme. Thanks for looking at my work.

I should have taken a picture, because we scrapped in my new room! There is no floor... guy didn't show don't remember why, there isn't any furniture, but I moved a card table and some folding chairs in and we scrapped away. We had a great time. Then we played air hockey. Present from Santa. hehe

I love color blocking too. I bought a template, but I've yet to use it! Usually, I just cut pieces to fit:>)
