scrapbook papers at Big Lots

Hi, just thought I'd share this bit of information with you. The ad for next week has scrapbook stuff for $1.00. The sale starts Sunday but we have already put some of our stuff out. There are pkgs. of 12x12 paper, brand name stuff. I think there are 12 sheets to a pkg but the pattern is all the same. If you went with a few friends, you could split them up. Also there are 3-d stickers for $1.00 they are nice, Sue Dreamer and Thomas Kinkade are some that I noticed.

I went yesterday and got 2 packs of vellum that had like music scores on it in gold......verrrrrrrrrrry pretty! And each pack was $1!! and there's 25 sheets! WOO HOO!! And of course there was this purple paper that looked sponge painted and since it was ONNNNNNNNNLY a $1, I got it of course justifying that I could SHARE my find with my niece and other purple fans...(not that I needed to justify it, but I did anyway). ;-)

I may have to go back today or tommorrow as they were rearranging everything and looked like they had more stuff to put out. :-) I'm all for the deals!

I am really not going to go get any there as right now, THANKS TO APRIL, I have a order sitting here for payday on Friday to JK Crafts. I GOTTA HAVE one of those Sizzix Sidekicks (AGAIN trying really really hard to blank out ALL those who talked about it!!)

I just wonder if it is the quality of the paper you get at Dollar Tree? I do not particulary care for it. Though I have to admit I am a real sucker (OK FLOOZY) for sales!!

As for the comment on being "enablers", NO it is because we are Floozers AND Flassers!!!

Dave, I am still taking out my paper you sent and admiring it ,looking at each and every one,trying not to drool. I love the different sized card stock!! I am already planning borders and have used some of the odd sizes for cards...my cup runneth over You are such a kind sweet,wonderful .....enabler! LOL

I got a baby scrapbook with basic layouts already done, a travel themed scrapbook for all the vacation layouts I've done for my daughter, some stickers, stencils.....gosh I can't remember it all! Then I went back and Big Lots had moved everything and I thought they'd sold out, but I hear there's more now! Too bad I've got an after Christmas cash flow problem. janetlee
