My first pages

Hi Everyone.

Thanks again for all your kind advice last year. I have now been scrapbooking for about 4-5 months, and thought I would try and send some photos of my pages. I don't have a scanner, so they are just a few quick piccies to see if it works. I would love any comments, but please be gentle as these are my first attempts and I still am practising!

Hopefully you will be able to see the photos at

PS Happy New Year to you all.

Wow. You did a great job on all your pages. I enjoyed looking at all of them too. Especially loved your Halloween page. :)

You did a great job Shaz!! I like your Hallowe'en one too - and the pumpkin and proud dad pages!

You did a beautiful job. Much better than my first few pages!

Awesome work! I am so glad that you decided to share. I really like how you match up background paper to the various pictures. It really is hard to tell that you are a beginner!

Don't need to be gentle they all look VERY nice Shaz. Keep scrapping you're doing really good and on the the right track to a great looking album.

I love #9 - I think cropping the big pictures is so neat and the fiber really set it off. Halloween and Choosing the pumpkin were really nice - the paper worked with the pictures......they are all good! Thanks for sharing Sandy in Southern Indiana

Your layouts are great!!! Keep up the good work.. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Shaz! I don't have to be gentle, I can just be honest. They are beautiful. I love the little embelishments at the Christening (spelling?) LO's. The different shades of pink also works very well. The park LO is too cute, love the slide and the jungle jim! Is that your son at the first day of school LO? He's adorable! Those are the cutest pics! Are the LO's in page protectors? Maybe to avoid a bit of the "glare" you can take them out next time you take the pics :)). Your LO's are great! Well done!

I really liked pages 13, 8, and 9. They're terrific. We all have our own style and comfort which is reflected (as well it should be) in our pages. They are a direct reflection on the builder and tell a story of their own beyond what the pictures say. Keep up the great storytelling! Melissa Derr

Great pages Shaz. I really like the letter stickers that you used on some of them, they are beautiful. I also like the way you used the pressed flowers, very pretty. Your kids are cuties!

You're doing a great job there shaz. Just keep scrapping! Trust me, your first pages look a lot better than my first. You sure you're a new scrapper? You've done a great job matching paper to the theme and colors in the pics. Keep up the good work!

Thank-you all so much! I am still very much in the learning stage and it definately is a very enjoyable hobby.
