almost back!

Maybe a nice sequinned appliqué patch would work on that? Iron on, too.. ;)

No irons or hot glue please. Don't you read the caution tag on your iron? "Do not iron clothing while wearing it." They must have had fun with that one -- "Do not iron while wearing clothing." "Do not wear clothing while ironing."

I do like the embroidery idea, though. How about henna? Back in my silversmithing youth I had a special order for a ring to cover a large mark on a finger.

The problem with most scars seems to be that they are in the most inconvenient locations. Golf club shaped scar? There must be a story there. How about a wide cuff bracelet? Ummmm....gauntlet? How's this? An embroidered band for the wrist? A fingerless gauntlet with embroidery?

DH lost substantial weight when he was on 'roids --- they gave him diabetes and he couldn't eat anything.

And all the easy dishes to cook are heavy in glycemic starches. I was almost as relieved as him when he got over it!
