Altering/Tapering jeans

Jun 24, 2007 1 Replies

I'm in mid-process of altering a pair of jeans so that they are slimmer around the leg.

I ripped the outside seam of one jean pant leg, and basted the new width. Everything seems to fit nice and snug, however, there is still some flack left over in the back of the knee. I was wondering how I could get rid of this?

Here are some images of what's going on. In the following image you can see the the right jean pant leg has a crease leftover:

Threads magazine had an article that was availble online about narrowing pants legs properly.
