Another two bite the dust

I'm making headway on my to-do list.

Here is the apron I made for older DD for Christmas, ready to be delivered as soon as she gets back from Cleveland (she and DGD are on a college audition trip):

(scroll down to the blue and white one). And here is the fleece jacket on which I embroidered DGS's logo:

You do the prettiest aprons. The sweatshirt logo has a very celtic feel to it. Nice! Juno

Oh, very, very nice and I am a great fan of aprons!

Yes, she does, doesn't she? I'm a fool for aprons, too, especially since I tend to mess up myself every time I step up to the stove, not to mention my habit of wiping my hands on - uh, not on a towel. ;-) I love Beverly's dragonflies best (although there's nothing wrong with the Christmas tree).

Thanks! The aprons I make DD are "working" aprons, pretty standard stuff, I like prettying them up. DGS created several Celtic-like designs, I am working on digitizing another one for him.

Thanks, Ursula. I should wear aprons, but I seldom do. DD does, all the time, which is why making them for her is a joy.

The dragonfly and Christmas aprons were among the batch of nine I made for younger DD's 40th BD a couple of years ago. I meant for the blue-and-white apron to be at the top. I still haven't got the editing on my new site down pat.

Thank you, Claire, that's special coming from one who does beautiful work herself.

I have one apron! it comes from New Orleans and has an alligator and a recipe for alligator stew on the front. I think it's time for a few more. They are easy to make and I never make any for moi. Probably time to get moving. I really do need them since I'm always using my jeans as a place to wipe my hands. Can't wait to see the next design!

You can never have too many Celtic designs. *She said. Patting her Celtic knot earrings -- yep, they're still there.*

You have only the one pair? I have several. Every time we went to the Portland Highland Games to watch DGD dance, I found another pair had leapt into my purse. ;-D

Speaking of which, I had some wonderful compliments on my tiny marble owls last Christmas. Thanks again.

That works, thanks. Fun to poke around there. ;-)

Did you get my email about your marbleart sculpture site? I was hoping to take a look at any new pieces you had, but no joy.

Yes I got that one, thank you, and you are right it doesn't work .I have contacted my domain name provider to see what is wrong. Mean while I wait for them to decide if it's them or me I shall carry on packing a nice order for Barbados, wish I could afford to hand deliver it but hey ho.

Thanks! I am slowly rebuilding my site. I just discovered that the way I set up the pages on my PC does not display correctly on my iPad. :-( More editing underway.
